The meeting will be held at Raylton Sports Club.
Twelve clubs form the league following the elevation of two clubs, Hwange and Glow Petroleum to the elite national Super League.
Provincial secretary-general Lisa Mangena said besides the issue of the adoption of the creation of one more league, clubs will also tackle the issue of affiliation fees, which fortunately have not been increased.
It is the issue of creating two new leagues that is set to be the main topic as the league, probably better run compared to the national league, seeks to further develop interest in the sport.
“All along we have been having a single league with teams playing just for the sake of playing but we now want to have promotional leagues so that teams compete for something. We are therefore going to propose to the clubs that we have the top league, Division One, the second tier, Division Two and a league made up of community and school teams which will be Division Three,” said Mangena, who runs the crack and flamboyant Free Stars netball team which came third last season.
In a letter to various stakeholders and clubs, Mangena said teams will also deliberate on a number of issues among them a review of the constitution as well as registration of teams and the 2012 calendar of events.
“The Zimbabwe Netball Association, Bulawayo Province, writes to invite you to its annual general meeting. Only two representatives from each club are allowed to attend the meeting,” said Mangena in her invitation letter.
According to Mangena’s letter, Division One clubs will pay a minimum of $56 with $20 being affiliation fees, $35 annual fees and just a dollar for each player’s registration.
New clubs that are expected to join the Division Two league will pay $15 as affiliation fees, $30 for subscription and a similar amount as the Division One clubs for player registration.
Division Three clubs will pay half of what Division Two clubs will pay as affiliation fees and five dollars less for the annual subscription fees with the player registration fees remaining the same with the other leagues.
Meanwhile, Free Stars look set to lose their top goal defender, Thobekile Vundla to national champions Railstars after the player was spotted on several occasions training with the National Railways of Zimbabwe bankrolled side recently.
“She is attending training sessions there but nothing concrete has been reached yet,” that is all Free Stars coach Mangena could say.
