The City of Harare is replacing water pipes along Merlewood Drive near ED Mnangagwa Road (formerly Enterprise Road).

In a notice, acting town clerk, Engineer Phakamile Mabhena Moyo, said the pipe replacement works, which started on Tuesday, are expected to end on Saturday.

“During this period, road access along Merlewood Drive will be temporarily restricted to allow for safe excavation and pipe installation,” he said.

“Motorists and residents are encouraged to use alternative routes and to exercise caution when approaching the work area.”
