City Parking remits $12, 8m to Harare

City Parking has disbursed $12, 8 million to Harare City Council during the first quarter of the year as part of its obligation to give the council 16 percent of its proceeds.

This was contained in the recent business committee minutes.

“The acting town clerk reported that City Park (Pvt) Ltd had remitted a total of $12 838 362,18 to the City of Harare which represented 16 percent of revenue collected during the above period.

“The City of Harare had in turn paid its 3 percent contribution to the Harare Sunshine Holdings (Pvt) Ltd which amounted to $385 150,87,” read the minutes.
