IMPRESSIVE City Saints were the dominant force throughout the inaugural basketball invitational tournament held at Mutare Boys’ High School over the weekend after winning all their games.

The team was in top form as they made light work of Wildhogs, Chiefs and Rusape Kings.

Coordinator of the games Nash Majoni hailed City Saints for a commanding performance and also commended the other teams for being competitive.

He described the tournament as successful.

“The performances by the teams that participated was impressive. We congratulate the winners and applaud the other contestants for the competitive spirit they exuded. Following the success of this tournament, it marks the return of the game in style following the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Majoni.

He added that plans are already underway to organise and host bigger and better competitions.
