ORGANISERS of the inaugural Chipinge Chamber of Micro, Small to Medium Enterprises Business Expo slated for this Friday and Saturday in the farming town have expressed confidence of hosting a successful event that will provide a perfect learning platform and excellent opportunity for networking.

Over 40 exhibitors have registered to take part at the expo, with the chamber’s secretary general, Mr I See Ziwi saying they are expecting the number of exhibitors to surpass 100.

He said the expo will be running under the theme: “Reviving Micro-Small to Medium Enterprises in Post-Cyclone Idai and Covid-19 era”.

“We are set to hold the Micro, Small to Medium Enterprises Business Expo at Gonye and Sons Golf Course on August 5 and 6 in conjunction with the Ministry of Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development. This initiative is aimed at developing and strengthening the Chipinge business community by expanding their horizons while also exploring opportunities for them. Minister Sthembiso Nyoni is expected to be the guest of honour,” said Mr Ziwi.

He urged Chipinge businesses to capitalise on the expo to form fruitful and profitable strategic synergies.
