CLAIRE Minter one of Zimbabwe’s top professional female golfers is hoping her participation in the Sunshine Tour in South Africa last month will be handy when she takes part in the President’s Cup in which NetOne are the main partners.
The event starts on Tuesday and ends on Thursday with professionals to play with amateurs on the final day on Friday.
“My preparations have been very good. I have actually been in South Africa for the past month. I have been playing in the ladies Sunshine tour where I made the cut, I was in the top 40,” said Minter.
She described the greens as a little bit tricky and was hoping on Monday evening into Tuesday the course owners would cut the grass and roll in some areas.
A total of 49 golfers are taking part.
