MUFAKOSE-based recording studio, Boss Bingu Village Studios (BVS), will hold a gig, which will see four genres clashing on Saturday, at Pahwaringira Bottle Store.
The studio will be celebrating its fourth anniversary and its achievements.
The music bash will see the battle of dancehall and hip hop as well as Afro pop versus Amapiano.
The gig will be held for free.
Founder of the studio, Boss Bingu, said he was appealing for the corporate world to support the movement which has uplifted the young and upcoming artists.
“This bash is to celebrate the ups and downs in the music industry.
“This is a tough industry.
“Within a short space of four years we have managed to uplift some youths and get nominated at the Zim dancehall awards.
“We are also appealing to the sponsors to chip in and support the movement. The show will be free,” he said.
Boss Bingu said the clash of genres gig was to promote and celebrate the diversity of art.
“We don’t need to stick to one genre as a studio.
“Variety makes things exciting, even in life.
“Currently, I am recruiting music producers, DJs and artists of different genres.
“Now, we have trained our current music producer, Lunga Beatz, to be one of the best in the industry,” he told H-Metro.
The studio has helped artists like Ndunge Yute, Fruitman and Nicky Vibes.
They have also worked with quite a number of well-established producers such as JMP, Cashlibs, DJ Macregwi, Alleviate Beats, Original da Super Producer.
Some of the productions the stable has recorded include Mukando, Pfumbudza and the Gearbox riddims, produced by Lunga Beatz.
