Yadah coach jets in for SARPCCO Games

Arron Nyamayaro in Dar es Salaam

YADAH FC coach, Genesis Mangombe, jetted here yesterday to lead the Zimbabwe football team at the SARPCCO Games.

Mangombe, popularly known as Kaka in police circles, didn’t travel with Team Zimbabwe last week.

He was given clearance to take charge of his club’s league match against Highlanders in Harare.

Yadah owner, Prophet Walter Magaya, is also a major sponsor of Team Zimbabwe for the SARPCCO Games.

He paid for Mangombe’s flight.

“I failed to travel with my colleagues since Yadah was playing against Highlanders and my players insisted that I should be on the bench.

“I thank Prophet Magaya for buying an air ticket for me to join others here.

“We are here to interact with other regional police officers, and exchange notes, in fighting crime.

“Our matches here at these Games are all friendly, and not as intense as league games,” he said.
