The spinner, clad in a white T-shirt and green leggings put up a feisty performance to maintain her status as the highlight of the night.
She played the popular hits from her fellow South African artistes and her own songs that include the hit Amerido.
She left the stage at 3am, paving way for Mark Vusani, popular for his old school sessions in the city.
As the gala went on in the stadium, fans queuing outside were treated to a free-for-all car-spinning competition. Over-excited drivers celebrated their entry into the year 2012 by driving at dangerous speeds thereby posing a danger to other road users. The police anti-riot squad thankfully, quickly dispersed the motorists.
