Hocus pocus magic!
A blanket used to cover a coffin at a funeral wake in Nguboyenja, Bulawayo disappeared without anyone seeing where it went leading mourners to suspect witchcraft.
Narrating the incident, a family member Sithobekile Mpala (ABOVE), said they were asleep and woke up to find the coffin without the covering blanket.
a�?We dona�� t know who took it or what happened. When we woke up it had disappeared,a�? said Mpala.
They ended up borrowing a replacement from a neighbour.
a�?We ended up borrowing one from a neighbour Sikhanyisiwe Hadebe ,a�?she added.
Mpala said although family members and the community were shocked they went ahead to bury their own.
a�?The incident didna��t disturb the burial of our family member. We are Christians and we do not believe in witchcraft as we know that the blood of Jesus conquers all. We prayed and surrendered everything into the hands of the Lord,a�? he said.
