Cold weather expected

Met Department head weather services Mr Tich Zinyemba said weather temperatures are expected to drop significantly both during the day and night.
“By the 15th of this month warm and less cloudy weather is expected,” he said.

He said Zimbabwe is now in the post rain season as the winter season was around the corner.
Mr Zinyemba said the weather will be cloudy with very cold spells during the winter season.

The trend is for temperatures to start dropping from time to time.
This rain season’s highest falls were recorded in Marondera (755mm), Murehwa (714mm), Harare Belvedere (693mm), Harare Airport (660mm), Gokwe (581mm),

Rusape (575mm) and Zvimba with 572mm.
Provinces such as Matabeleland North, South of Midlands, Bulawayo, Matabeleland South and Masvingo have received the least amounts of rain this rain season.
