SINGER and comedian, Last “Boss Lappa” Mushaishi, is on cloud nine after tying the knot with his long-time Angolan sweetheart, Sharlene Mangalhaes.

The wedding took place at Party Solutions Resort in Hatfield on January 7 and was attended by just over 50 guests.

In an interview with H-Metro, Boss Lappa said he forked out over US$7 000 for the wedding ceremony, which was strictly by invitation.

“I have been married to my Angolan wife Sharlene for 13 years, but we decided to hold this wedding ceremony to cement our marriage.

“Over the years, actors and other celebrities have been perceived as men and women of loose morals, but I decided to set a good example that we are also responsible people.

“What made our wedding unique is that we decided to tie the knot in January when things are perceived to be tough after overspending during the festive season,” he said.

Boss Lappa was grateful to his family and his principals, who also made the event a success.

“My wedding would not have been a success had it not been for the support I got from Shambare Hardware where I am employed.

“There are a few individuals that I cannot mention by name, who also assisted us,” he said.

Boss Lappa said he had a memorable honeymoon.

“It’s every man’s wish to go on honeymoon with their partners after tying the knot as was the case with us.

“We had fun and I urge other couples to try it,” he said.

Boss Lappa is known for a number of skits on social media, including one he did for H-Metro.

“We are looking forward to a great year and are confident we will certainly make it to the top. It’s definitely my year,” he said.
