DYNAMOS have coaxed their midfielder, Tinashe Makanda, to pen a two-year contract extension.
“Makanda has signed a two-year contract after a lengthy negotiation,” said a club official.
The 28-year-old year’s contract with the Glamour Boys had expired at the end of last month, and had called time with the club saying he was being offered a poor deal to stay.
He had already set his sights on joining newly promoted Green Fuel.
The fate of King Nadolo still lies in the hands of his parent club, TelOne.
Nadolo is yet to turn up at Dynamos’ training ground and there is a growing belief that the technical team is considering pressing the “Plan B” button.
Meanwhile, Ngezi Platinum Stars have acquired the service of former Chicken Inn midfielder, Malvin Gaki and Green Fuel forward, Claude Mapoka.
The duo joined the platinum miners on two-year deals.
Mapoka is expected give the club’s high-profile hitman, Delic Murimba, competition.
Midfielder, Perfect Chikwende, has found his way back to Mandava from Bulawayo Chiefs.
He was initially with Chiefs for three years until 2019, when he moved to FC Platinum and won the league championship before departing for Tanzanian top-flight giants, Simba SC.
After spending two seasons in Tanzania, he returned to FC Platinum.
But Chikwende was forced to return to the Ninjas after falling out of favour.
The Zvishavane side has, however, failed to lure CAPS United striker, William Manondo.
Manondo’s camp told H-Metro that FC Platinum’s offer did not match the value of the reigning Castle Lager Premiership Golden Boot winner.
Besides Mapoka, Green Fuel have also lost their goalkeeper, Tadious Baye, who conceded just five goals last season en route to the PSL.
Reports suggest that one of their best players last season, Leroy Murape, is on the verge of joining ZPC Kariba.
Manica Diamonds have secured the signature of highly-rated midfielder, Brett Amidu.
Amidu left Chicken Inn after the expiry of his contract and signed a two-year contract with the Mutare side yesterday.
The 26-year-old becomes the third midfielder the Gem Boys have signed in less than a week.
They snapped up the former Dynamos duo of Ralph Kawondera and Trevor Mavhunga.
