ARMY side Commando Bullets have warned log leaders Gunners to brace for a tough outing when the teams clash in a World Navi Northern Region Division One tie at One Commando Barracks this afternoon.Gunners, who have faltered in their last three league matches, face the soldiers in a must-win encounter if they are to maintain their top spot in the championship race.

Commando Bullets team manager John Mandaza said they were going to give Gunners a good run as they were aiming for a top four finish.

“To tell you the truth, our game against Gunners will not be easy, but we are ready and prepared for the match,” Mandaza said.

Gunners are tied with Flame Lily on 57 points at the top-of-the-table as the race heads for the home stretch.

“Some are gunning for the championship and some want to avoid relegation so it will not be easy,” said Mandaza.

“We will not look much into Gunners’ last two games as they can bounce back. But if they continue with what I saw in their game against Blue Swallows they should not expect to get any points.

“We have managed to blend experienced and young players and that has been working well for us and we want to continue to improve. We are not leaving anything to  chance.”
