Congratulations Christ TV!

Christ TV celebrated its first anniversary on September 20.  It was a very special and indeed unforgettable, glorious day in the history of Christ TV.  Thousands of people thronged the City Sports Centre in Harare to celebrate Christ TV’s joyful leap into the future.
Congratulations to Prophets Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa, may the Almighty God, whom you serve continue to crown all your endeavours with success.

This milestone is a testimony of grace, hard work, devotion, dedication and perseverance. We thank God for the wonderful things which He has done through you and what He will continue to do.

As founders of Christ TV, they surely deserve our prayers, gratitude and admiration for a task very well done.

They have accomplished much in the past year; having an extraordinary impact on the world today, bringing the claims of Christ to people who are desperately in need of the gospel.

Amidst an exciting musical extravaganza at the City Sports Centre, Prophet Makandiwa said bringing souls to Christ is Christ TV’s vision.

True, they have guided innumerable people to the arms of the Lord by preaching the Word of God and healing them through God’s power.

In a world filled with unbelief and worldly wisdom, where churchliness has become fashionable, God raised a man after His own heart, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

His mandate is to call back God’s people to simple faith and righteousness, demonstrating God’s interest in the prosperity of His people. He is like the Moses of our time. By standards of this world, an assignment of this nature requires a man learned in subjects like Economics and Political Science, best prepared by either our top local and or foreign universities or theological seminaries. A man approved and honoured by contemporary church leaders, certainly not an “unqualified” common young man from the common people of Muzarabani.

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa is the scandal of the correct and conventional. Ordained by our Lord Jesus Christ, he understood his mission and continues to serve God with dignity, honour and humility. With compassion and without compromise, he ministers. Often he startles his audience with his dynamic thinking and vivid expressions.

Prophet Makandiwa sermons’ on Christ TV are characterised by staid revelations, diligent and reverent handling of God’s Word.

This is a man carrying uncommon grace and anointing.

Opposition to the message of the Cross is neither unexpected nor new, hence Prophet Makandiwa is often times misunderstood and underrated but he continues to demonstrate unfaltering pursuit of his calling. He is a great hero of faith.

Blessed with numerous gifts from God, a teacher par excellence, a prophet, an evangelist, an apostle and a pastor, by the grace of God, Prophet Makandiwa has become medicine to heal the wounded, broken hearted and encourage the faithful through Jesus Christ. He exalts Jesus Christ as the greatest, awakens souls all over the world to the exercise of faith through worship and thanksgiving.

Sending her congratulatory message to Christ TV Founders, during a live interview after the anniversary celebrations, a UFIC member Pamela Chidamba said “as you mark this first milestone, may you be further affirmed in God’s grace to spur on all who join you in this journey of spiritual formation and transformation in Christ through continuing biblical education anchored on the firm foundation of God’s Word. Baba and Mama, you are the best. For sure you are taking Christ to the nations.”

“This is a cause for celebration, an occasion for reflection and a reason to be thankful. Some people might not see what Christ TV is doing in the physical but lives are being changed.

“Prophets Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa may you receive a renewed passion from God to pursue the vision that He has entrusted to you.

“May you continue to love, live for and lift-up Christ alone. Congratulations Christ TV,” said Nkululeko Dlamini from South Africa writing on Christ TV’s Facebook page.

Another Christ TV viewer, Mufaro Sengwe described Christ TV as a productive vine that has resulted in much eternal fruit.

“Prophets Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa have lived out their message in a life of integrity and consistency to the glory of the Lord Jesus Whom they love and serve. When I think of them, and see them on Christ TV I see authentic servants of God,” she said.

Christ TV is sending its signal to more than 100 countries around the globe through satellite cable network, and public air broadcasting. One can watch the programmes online from anywhere in the world on Purple TV.
