BULAWAYO residents can look forward to a cool and largely sunny winter day on Thursday, with dry conditions expected to persist across the city.
According to weather forecasting service AccuWeather, the city is expected to record a maximum temperature of about 23°C and a minimum of 11°C, with no significant chance of rainfall.
The forecast indicates generally pleasant conditions during the day, although temperatures will remain chilly during the early morning and evening hours.
The forecast comes as Bulawayo continues to experience typical winter conditions characterised by cold mornings, mild afternoons and low rainfall activity.
AccuWeather’s June outlook for Bulawayo shows daytime temperatures remaining relatively stable throughout the month, with highs averaging around 23°C and overnight temperatures ranging between 10°C and 11°C.
Residents are encouraged to dress warmly during the morning commute and late evening periods when temperatures are at their lowest.
The dry weather is also expected to favour outdoor activities, construction projects and travel, with no major weather disruptions anticipated.
Meteorological experts note that June is traditionally one of Bulawayo’s driest months, with minimal rainfall and predominantly clear skies prevailing across much of the region.
The stable weather conditions are expected to continue into the weekend, maintaining the cool but sunny pattern that has characterised the city’s winter season.
