Cops take turns to rape visitor at police camp

THREE policemen allegedly raped an 18-year-old woman who had visited her sister at a police camp in Beitbridge, on multiple occasions.

The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) in a statement on X, said the woman was raped by the first accused while she was bathing during her visit to her sister’s place at Chitulipasi post camp quarters in Beitbridge, with the accused grabbing her from behind and covering her mouth before committing the crime.

“The second accused person allegedly raped the complainant on the 8th of June 2024 as she was also bathing. He allegedly grabbed her by the neck and forcibly pushed her to the ground before committing the offence. On the 13th of June 2024 at around 1400 hours the complainant was at home alone when the third accused came to collect some plates.

“The third accused person allegedly closed the door and threatened the complainant with a kitchen knife before raping her,” said the NPAZ

The victim reported the incidents to her mother when she went back to Bulawayo
