AN 85-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested in Ekurhuleni for possession and potential dealing of illicit substances.
Lieutenant-Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, spokeswoman for the Ekurhuleni Metro Police in South Africa, reported that on 26 July, cops acted on a tip-off about a house in Greenfield, Eden Park, suspected of drug activities.
“The officers visited the house in question. Upon arrival, they were allowed entry by an 85-year-old South African woman to search the premises,” Thepa said.
During the search, officers discovered 280 Mandrax tablets, 21 packets of crystal meth, and 17 packets of cat. The elderly suspect was subsequently arrested and taken to the Eden Park Police Station, where she was charged with possession and possible dealing in illicit substances. (www.snl24.com)
