Cops win sporting excellence awards

Commissioner Mekia Tanyanyiwa said sports played an important role in inculcating values that included perseverance,discipline and endurance.

He said sporting activities were at the centre of the ZRP military wing — the Support Unit — as a strategic way of maintaining a vibrant and dynamic police unit able to respond swiftly to any call of duty.

Winners from various sporting disciplines walked away with medals and cash prizes supported by Copperwares and Betta Balls.
