Cottco scoops award again

The ceremony was held on Friday last week at the Rainbow Towers in Harare.
Cottco spokesperson Ms Veronica Kandara said it was a humbling experience for Cottco to receive this prestigious award for the third time in a row.

“As Cottco we are indeed elated that we play a significant role in the Zimbabwean economy and we hope to continue doing so for many years to come.

“We owe our success to all our stakeholders and we are grateful to the organisers, sponsors, individuals and companies who voted for Cottco,” she said.

Cottco is the largest cotton company in Zimbabwe, supporting several thousand farmers through various financing programmes. The company exports above 90 percent of its lint to markets in South Africa, Lesotho, Europe and the Far East.
