Chamber secretary Mrs Josephine Ncube and human resources director Dr Cainos Chingombe, were part of the delegation that comprised chairmen of the human resources and purposes committee Clrs Masiye Kapare,

Resias Masunda, Peter Moyo and Wilton Njanjasi.
Local Government, Rural and Urban Development secretary Mr Killian Mpingo, on Monday confirmed the councillors and officials travelled without Cabinet authority in defiance of a Government directive requiring the issuance of the authority before trips outside the country.

Town clerk Dr Tendai Mahachi was evasive when asked to comment on the matter.
