Dr Musawenkosi Mugomba, a medical doctor, and his wife, Ms Zanele Kanye, a psychologist, have been arrested following complaints from neighbourng businesses regarding suspicious activities at their establishment, the International Autism Centre.

Dr Mugomba also provides medical services at Mpilo Central Hospital.

Concerns began to surface when adjacent business owners reported a significant increase in foot traffic to the Centre, particularly from members of the LGBTIQ community.

One local business owner, who wished to remain anonymous, stated, “I’ve noticed more people coming and going from the Centre recently. They seem to be a part of the LGBTIQ community, but I can’t say for sure what’s happening inside.”

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Dr Mugomba had been performing minor plastic surgeries at the facility, which has raised alarms among local authorities.
