A BULAWAYO couple has fled from the family house because the juju that the man brought from South Africa is torturing the family, a court heard.

Fisiwe Banda dragged her husband, Sibusisiwe Ntunga to the civil court on Thursday demanding dissolution of their marriage over the issue.

She said strange things started happening after she discovered her husband’s juju hidden in their house in Pumula South.

She told magistrate Victor Mpofu that no one is staying in the house as they have both fled to live with relatives.

“Your Worship, there is no one staying in the house at the moment. Last week when I went to leave my court papers, I found out that he is no longer staying in that house too. I could not go to leave the papers at his relatives’ place because we are not in good books,” Banda said.

“It’s a good thing that we don’t have children because I no longer want anything to do with him and I want my share of the property,” she said

Banda said she does not want to go back to the haunted house.

Ntunga told the court that Banda was lying that he brought juju from South Africa saying he too does not know where it came from.

Magistrate Mpofu granted the dissolution of marriage and ordered Banda to take the property while Ntunga takes the house.
