Cowdray Park police relaunch service charter

Luveve suburb is a hive of activity as residents are gathered at the suburbs Chigumira shopping centre for the colourful relaunch of the client police service charter by police in Luveve and Cowdray Park.

Residents are gathered in their numbers to witness the relaunch, which is characterised by energetic performances from drum majorettes, dance groups and various community entertainers, creating a festive atmosphere that underscored the importance of strengthening relations between the police and the public.

 

The relaunch of the charter is expected to enhance cooperation between law enforcement agencies and residents, while promoting transparency, accountability and improved service delivery within the two high-density suburbs.

Among the notable guests at the event is Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube, who attended in his capacity as a resident of Cowdray Park.

Also present is Cowdray Park Member of Parliament Alfred Mujeyi and apostolic sect led by Emmanuel Mutumwa of Johannes Masowe WeChishanu, who joined residents and police officers in celebrating the relaunch initiative.
