IT seems house musicians in Bulawayo will always face the same predicament of not getting credit for their hit songs as another local hit song Izolo has been mistaken for a South African product.

A few years ago, 3Kings hit song Iseqa mabhilidi was wrongly accredited to Big Nuzz and Bhatshi by Kwabatsha Dance Company was also said to be a South African product.

3Kings had to perform the track live on radio and held live shows to convince people that they were the owners of the track which was taking house music lovers by storm.

A teenage tribal house group called Trycoon Sherati from Cowdray Park is facing the same predicament with their track Izolo.

Many people who have heard the track are quick to credit it to one of the biggest house music hubs in South Africa.

The trio comprising of Raise Mandaza aka Izzy (20), Ntando Ndlovu aka Lunti (21) and Shasto (21) are not bothered by this as they believe that eventually Bulawayo house fans will come to know the truth.

“When we came up with the track, we knew that it was going to be a hit. As much as we expected, people are showing overwhelming love for the track and it’s becoming more popular by each day. Unfortunately some people think that it’s not our track, but one day the truth will come out,” said Mandaza.

The upcoming tribal house group added that they have more tracks to their name which they are pushing on various platforms.

He further added that they were looking for sponsors to advance their music.
