adminMELBOURNE. – Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted allegedly criticising Rafa Benitez’s training methods.
Spanish media reported this week that the Portuguese attacker had slammed one of Benitez’s skills sessions.
They showed footage of Ronaldo working out in Melbourne ahead of today’s clash against Manchester City and used lip reading experts to claim he’d described a crossbar challenge set up by his manager as “s***”.
The ex-Manchester United hero was also angry at having a goal disallowed in a training match and seemed to say, “He gives everything against the Portuguese”.
Ronaldo reportedly feels that the players should be trying to score goals rather than attempting to hit the crossbar.
The Los Blancos ace is said to have been less than happy with the appointment of Rafa Benitez as the La Liga side’s boss.
But Benitez has played down the supposed feud. – AFP.
