nine games as he made a fifth attempt on the title.
On his way to glory, Craven lost only twice.
In one of the matches, Craven lost to Dereck Robinson and also come second best to Clive Robertson.
An excited Craven said he was happy to win the event.
“It was a fantastic tournament which was enjoyed by most bowlers.
“I am very happy to win the tournament and it’s very special.
“My game against Robertson was very competitive and it was close, in my fist set I lost by a point as it finished 7-8 before getting to 8-8 draw in the second set,” Craven said.
Roy Garden also fared well as he won six of the nine games he played in to finish on 38 points.
Dale, who plays for Alexandra Sports Club, dropped just a single game, which she lost to Maria Pezzaro.
Dale finished with 45 points in the nine games.
In the last game of the tournament she beat Debbie Robinson 11-3 in the first set and 7-3 in the second set.
Dale was making her first appearance at the tournament.
“I only lost one game and I think Pezzaro deserved it because she played so well.
“I am very pleased that I won and the green (field) was in good condition as I managed to play well,” said Dale.
Trish Davies finished on 40 points while Kerry Craven and Marie Pezzaro had 30 points.
Bowls Zimbabwe president Malcolm Evans praised the Masters Tournament as a great tournament for the singles’ bowlers.
“The tournament was brilliant and amazing. The sports club had good greens that played well.
“We are just looking forward to the Africa States to be held in South Africa from July 31 to August 5.
