UPCOMING Afro-fusion artiste, Farie Madungwe, is set to release a new song in which she explains how people should behave in relationships.
In an interview with H-Metro, Farie explained that representing her culture was the main reason she pursued her music career.
The songstress said that a lot of her musical journey was inspired by her life experience.
“I want to stay true to what my experiences were and how I was feeling at that moment.
“My song is to advise people that they should not throw away our culture because someone is in love.
“They are diverging from our cultural ways. Girls are losing their value as African girls so, basically, that is what my song ‘Huya Uroore’ is all about.”
The songstress has been working with Mbeu as a backing vocalist.
“Working with him is a nice experience,” she said.
“I love his music besides the fact that I work with him.
“It’s just been a few months since I started working with him and yet I’m learning a lot of things musically.
“Mbeu has been singing for a long time and has worked with the likes of ana mudhara Tuku.
“He is so experienced and has great vocal skills and working with him is a good thing for me.”
