DZIVARESEKWA-based Afro fusion singer, Sebastian “Sobs” Mubururi, is itching for recognition.
The towering crooner is set to unveil his sixth album on March 31.
Titled ‘Black International,’ the album carries seven tracks.
Sobs said his expectation is to flood the market with his music.
Speaking to H-Metro, Sobs said the album is mainly about the struggles people face when trying to find love among they families.
“My prayer is for acceptance from people and for the music to flood the market and also to give Afro pop listeners more content.
“I expect to play my part in pushing Afro-pop, as a genre, and give a meaning to it.
“When we try to chase our dreams, we face struggles,” he said.
Sold told H-Metro the album carries music that talks about how family relationships were now breaking down.
“Urimwana Wamai is a song that talks about family kuti ko mukoma nemunin’ina hatichawirirane sei?
“We have to unite as a family.
“I want to give my fans a balanced album whose music can be appreciated and help to mend broken relationships,” he said.
Some of the tracks I am looking to make an impact are Love Overflow, Urimwana Wamai and Usanditarisire Pasi.
