Cross-country champs on this weekend

six schools and everyone will be looking forward to build strong and competitive teams to represent them.
In a calendar released by the Harare province, the participants have been advised to have identity particulars, which will be signed by the school heads, with them at the races.
The zonal cross-country races will encompass 4km for Under-16 girls and the 6km race for the Under-16 boys, Under-18 girls and U-20 girls.
The Under-18 and 20 boys will take part in 8km road races.
After the zonal races, the athletes will move to the provincial level and Dzivarasekwa 2 High will play host.
The provincials for the cross-country will be held on February 3 before the national finals on February 17 at Plumtree High School. The national cross-country competition will be held in Matabeleland South this year.
