CYCLISTS mingle with schoolchildren and residents at Chegutu’s central business district during the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke which began at Zimplats, Selous this morning.

The first leg of the tour is from Selous to Kwekwe. Tomorrow the riders will cycle to Unki Mine and last leg is on Saturday.

The event is creating awareness about wellness a key element in mining productivity.

The Great Dyke is a rich mineral belt cutting across the length of Zimbabwe and contributes significantly to the GDP with millions employed or supported by both mining and then industrial activity.

Three giant mining concerns Mimosa, Unki and Zimplats are some of the sponsors and partners of the three-day event.
