THE Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) is today hosting a Post-Budget Breakfast Meeting in Bulawayo, aimed at providing the business community with an opportunity to engage and discuss the recently tabled budget.

Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube, is expected to deliver the keynote address.
The event has attracted a diverse group of attendees, including tax experts, bankers, and industry players. During his presentation on the budget overview, seasoned economist Mr Eddie Cross highlighted that a significant portion of the budget has been allocated to public services. He commended the Government for meeting the 20% allocation for education and 15% for health.

Banker Mr Herry Heresy emphasised that economic growth relies heavily on Government action, particularly through the promotion of local industries by procuring equipment and other goods locally.
