A BINGA man (54) was sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping his daughter (15).
In a statement, the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) said the sex attacks occurred in October 2023 on different occasions.
On the first count, the accused raped his daughter in her bedroom, and on the second count in his room when she came to get soap.
“The matter came to light when the complainant told her mother, who reported it to the police on 9 January 2024, leading to the accused person’s arrest,” reads the statement.
