Controversial pole dancer Nolleen Zoey Sifelani says dancing is her calling that comes first before anything in her life.
The dancer said she was unhappy some people had linked her to a move to Prophet Walter Magaya’s church since her fellow dancer Bev joined it.
There has been a harsh exchange of words between Bev and Zoey since the development and Zoey says all this is madness aimed at diverting her focus from dancing.
“I have always been a religious person and I am a member of a local church. I will not be ‘bought’ into any church because I am pleased with my church. I believe dancing is my major calling and I will continue doing it.”
Zoey revealed that there are attempts to lure her into joining Magaya’s Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries to join Bev.
I have also received a number of anonymous calls from people asking me to quit pole dancing and receive business capital to open a business, but I love dancing and will not stop for anything,” said Sifelani.
In fact, it is reported that Bev Sibanda’s “conversion” was accompanied by the deliverance of at least 15 other women who had formerly been associated with strip tease and prostitution, and all seeking a new life after receiving funds from Magaya.
A recent publication quotes a spokesperson for Magaya as saying all the women had been given space for shops along a street in Harare.
Zoey said she will not be attracted by any offers or gifts because she believes in working hard to achieve her goals.
She recently ventured into music and will be launching her debut album at Private Lounge on February 12.
