Dance song for Valentines: Guspy Warrior

Praise Masvosva

Zimdancehall sensation, Guspy Warrior, says he has recorded a dance song titled Pinda Pa Position to keep music lovers on their feet during Valentine’s.

The Chitungwiza-based entertainer, who is also celebrating 17 years in music circles, believes this song will equally win hearts of many, just like his popular hit Seunononga.

The song was recorded at Genius Records by Ghost Magician.

“It’s a dance song, which comes at the right time when people are exchanging gifts and showing each other love.

“Basically, the song talks about dancing on a bike position.

“Love is in the air, so I just decided to keep my fans with dancing shoes on.

“I believe this song will certainly take me to another level as we open the account for the year.

“It’s been 17 years now since I ventured into music, and I just try to stay upgraded, updated and motivated to go on.

“I am still learning to focus. It has helped me a lot and I also have a great team behind me as well, as maintaining good relations with fellow artists is the way to go,” he said.

Guspy Warrior, who is turning 33 on March 20, also hinted on a collaboration with a top South African DJ.

“I also have a significant collaboration I am doing with a huge South African DJ.

“I have a birthday bash coming soon and my fans should look forward to that one.

“A lot of singles are also being lined up for this year and we have one titled Denga Rechinomwe, which will hit the market on Valentine’s Day.

“The song was produced by Cymplex Music,” he said.

Besides music, Guspy Warrior is also perfecting his entrepreneurship skills.

“Music is my main business, but I am working on opening Guspy Bazaar, a food outlet which has never been seen in Zimbabwe. I will announce soon when we tie all the loose ends.”

To date, he has eight albums to his name.
