DEBT GHOST SHADOWS BOSSO . . . CLUB MAINTAINS BOOKS ARE CLEAN

HIGHLANDERS have moved to silence the debt doom prophets after confirming they have finally settled what they owed former coaches Kelvin Kaindu and Try Ncube.

At a time when many in football circles believed Bosso were drowning in unpaid bills, chief executive officer Denzel Mnkandla came out fighting, declaring the club has cleared its arrears with the two gaffers.

Try Ncube

Mnkandla confirmed Kaindu was paid in full back in October last year, bringing closure to a chapter that had threatened to haunt the club into the new season.

“On coach Kaindu, a settlement was reached and payment was made in October. That is now a closed chapter and we thank him for his professionalism,” said Mnkandla.

The Bosso boss added that the club is also close to finalising a mutual separation deal with former coach Try Ncube.

“The club is close to a settlement with coach Try Ncube that will pave the way for a mutual separation. I would really like to commend him for his professionalism and positive attitude. We wish him well in the future.”\

With the Kaindu and Ncube matters nearly wrapped up, Bosso’s focus has now shifted to preparations for the new season under incoming coach Thabo Senong.

Mnkandla said the club is driven by teamwork and professionalism.

“Football is like that. Sometimes things do not go as planned but what is important is an amicable resolution that ensures both parties move on well.”

However, one storm cloud still hangs over the black and white giants.

Highlanders are yet to resolve their dispute with former second assistant coach Agent Sawu, whose contract was terminated in December 2025 despite running until December 2026.

As Bosso celebrates 100 years of existence this year, fans are hoping the off field drama will finally end and allow the team to focus on chasing silverware for the first time since their last league title in 2006.
With debts being cleared and a new technical team taking shape, optimism is slowly returning to Emagumeni.
