TWO women have been fighting over a man for the past 10 years, a court has heard.
The matter was heard at the Harare Civil Court where Onai Choga applied for a peace order against Melody Tagarira.
Onai said Melody calls and sends unsavoury messages, accusing her of dating her husband.
“Melody accuses me of having an affair with her husband, which is a lie.
“I have tried to explain it to her, but she doesn’t understand.
“I have never been intimate with her husband, but she claims all my children are his.
“She came to my workplace and caused a fracas.
“She also posted on Facebook that I am a husband snatcher,” said Onai.
In defence, Melody said Onai had made her life miserable since 2010, when she started dating her husband.
“She is always making appointments with him.
“At one point, I saw a message on my husband’s phone asking Onai if they could have sex and she told him she would give it to him when she stopped breastfeeding.
“She told my husband that she needed a job and she would pay with sex.
“I pray that she is ordered to stop having an affair with my husband,” said Melody.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavire granted the peace order in favour of Onai.
