TAKESURE “Deco” Chiragwi is weaving his magic at Ngezi Platinum Stars.
His men are yet to lose a game this season.
They have won three games and drawn four others to amass 13 points and even took pole position on Saturday.
They seemed to have started slowly with four consecutive draws before they found their winning touch in their last three games.
On Saturday, they thrashed ZPC Kariba 5-1.
They last lost a game in the league in October last year when they were beaten 0-1 by Cranborne Bullets. Eight months later, they are still to lose a game.
They have played 17 games on the trot, winning nine games and drawing eight on the way.
That translates to 1530 minutes of play without losing a game where they have scored 31 goals and conceded 9 goals. Ngezi Platinum forward, Walter Vuwa, grabbed a brace in their rout against ZPC Kariba. The exciting forward had a difficult stint last season as he spent much of last season on the sidelines due to injuries.
He seems to have found his touch.
“Obviously, I’m feeling happy being on the scoresheet,” said Vuwa.
“The win means a lot for the team. It shows that we are working hard as a team. “We need to keep that unity for the upcoming games.”
He added: “I would say the game was pretty amazing because I think I did everything I could to help the team win,” he said.
