KEVIN Moyo is convinced Scottland will leave an impression difficult to ignore before his time is up.
The number of titles won normally defines greatness, but breaking many records in the process is another chapter.
Kevin has 4 titles to his name.
And he was part of Scottland when they won the title in their first year in 2025, his fourth, and more milestones could be in the pipeline.
But the big question is, how far can they go?
They have Norman Mapeza as head coach, one of the most decorated on the local scene. They also have legendary Peter Ndlovu as the club team manager, considered one of the greatest players to ever wear the Warriors shirt.
Scottland also have the duo of Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat in their ranks, players also regarded among the best to come out of Zimbabwe.
Kevin, who has turned out to be an integral player for Scottland since they arrived in the PSL, adds to that.
The defender believes his side is set for another big season, aiming to defend the title and achieve new things.
“We are building nicely. Last season was history, this is a new fight,” said Kevin.
“Every team wants to beat the champions, but we are not afraid. The momentum is coming, and we are closing the gap on CAPS United.”
Kevin, a key figure in Scottland’s historic debut championship run, said the hunger has only grown following their remarkable entry into the top flight.
“The ambition in this dressing room is different. We didn’t come here just to win once. We want to dominate like we have seen in the past,” he said. “That is the standard we are chasing.”
For the last decade, FC Platinum have dominated local football, winning four consecutive titles in 2017, 2018, 2019, and the 2021/22 season. No league football was played in 2020 due to Covid-19.
Ngezi Platinum won in 2023, Simba Bhora in 2024 before they were dethroned by the current champions.
