Delta acquires Mutare Bottling

THE country’s leading soft drinks producer Delta Beverages has acquired Mutare Bottling Company from Econet Wireless.
A letter to clients from Delta Beverages, signed by Sparkling Beverages general manager Moses Gambiza, confirmed the development.
“We write to inform you that Mutare Bottling Company’s assets and core operations will be acquired by Delta Beverages (Private) Limited effective from 22 March 2021,” reads part of the letter.
From now on, Delta Beverages will assume the manufacturing, selling and distribution of Coca-Cola products in Manicaland territory.
This also includes the selling and distribution of Coca-Cola products bh into all outlets that were being serviced by Mutare Bottling Company.
The transaction has received requisite regulatory approvals.
