DYNAMOS coach Callisto Pasuwa returns to club football looking to maintain the winning streak which his team struck before the break when they welcome Triangle United on Sunday at the National Sports Stadium.
The Warriors’ assistant coach is still battling the disappointment of the national team’s early exit in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
His charges eked two victories in a row, beating Chiredzi and FC Platinum, before the break.
Defensive midfielder Stephen Alimenda, is unavailable on Sunday as he would be serving suspension after accumulating three yellow cards.
Yesterday, team manager Richard Chihoro, said it should be business as usual for the team as they barely rested during the break.
“We will continue with the players we have been using in the previous games as all our players who are injured haven’t recovered,” said Chihoro.
“We are looking forward to winning the weekend’s game and we should not be affected by this break at all as it has been all work for us.
“Triangle are one of the teams in the league and they are competitive. There is no team to underrate now and that is why there is a lot of movement in the league.
“We have to be at our best on Sunday if we are serious about winning this game.”
The Harare giants are yet to win a match against the Lowveld side in the team’s short stay in the top-flight.
Newboys ZPC Kariba, would be hoping to continue with their fine run when they travel to Bulawayo for a date against Bantu Rovers tomorrow which would be broadcast live on SuperSport.
Saul Chaminuka’s charges are yet to lose a match in 810 hours of league football in what has been an impressive run for the debutants.
Harare City, who have started picking some points, also travel to the City of Kings for a tricky clash against How Mine.
Coach Bigboy Mawiwi, seems to have found some breathing space after picking six points in the last three matches, but knows that he needs to do more after a dreadful start.
The biggest game of the week is at Barbourfields where Highlanders host FC Platinum in a match which would be televised live on SuperSport on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulawayo giants are top of the log while Lloyd Mutasa’s charges are becoming better with each passing week.
