DeMbare gets its posterboy

Sports Reporter

HE launched the Save Rufaro campaign, which ultimately didn’t lead to the renovation of the iconic stadium.

But, no one can blame him.

After all, he donated provided building materials for the construction of modern dressing rooms.

He then donated 100 bags of cement and a refrigerator to be used in the renovation of Barbourfields and the stadium’s doping room.

But, will Musa Gwasira, a former director of the Lengthens FC project, help revive Dynamos?

This week he was appointed the club’s vice-chairman.

There is no questioning his commitment to the game and his work, in transforming a social club into one which represented this country in a CAF inter-club competition, tells the story of his passion.

His push to have both Rufaro and Barbourfields spruced up also sends the right signals of his desire to see the local game develop.

The DeMbare fans will be hoping he can also help breathe some life into the country’s biggest and most successful club.
