The Bulawayo side also had a good build-up to the season that was spiced by their 3-2 triumph over CAPS United in the NetOne Charity Shield.
Dynamos will be aiming to boost their morale ahead of their meeting with the Tunisians in which they hope to wipe out a 3-0 deficit from the first leg.
But before they can plunge back into the African safari, Dynamos must contend with a tricky opponent that finished fourth in the championship race last year.
Chicken Inn coach, Mandla Mpofu, said he was not underestimating the task at hand and hopes his team will notch another set of three points.
“This game will be a tough call but we hope to do well. As much as we respect Dynamos as the champions, we will treat them like any of our rivals in the league,” said Mpofu.
“We have continuity in our squad because we have three quarters of the players from last season still with us.
“Our target this season is to finish in the top four and maybe getting more silverware.
“Already, we have landed a piece of silverware but our objective now is to get another trophy and more points.
“The victory in the NetOne Charity Shield has actually made us eager to aim for more,” said Mpofu.
Across town at Gwanzura, Monomotapa host Buffaloes as both teams seek their first set of points.
Army side Buffaloes lost 2-1 at Sakubva against FC Platinum while Monoz were stunned 3-2 by Premiership returnees, Black Rhinos at Rufaro on Saturday.
In another match, outspoken Triangle coach Gishon Ntini willl also be aiming for a maiden Premiership win for his newboys at Gibbo, where they will welcome Shabanie Mine.
Shabanie got off to a false start when they were handed a 2-0 defeat by last year’s runners-up Highlanders at Maglas on Good Friday. Ntini, however, believes Triangle could secure their first win if they maximise on home advantage against their more seasoned opponents.
“I think we played extremely well in the first game against Chicken Inn because we were in control of the game.
“It was unfortunate that we lost, partially because of some questionable decisions by the match officials.
“But this is our first home game and we are just hoping to get our first three points of the season,” said Ntini.
Ntini said the game against Chicken Inn, which they lost 2-1 at Luveve on Thursday, showed that they were on the right track.
“I think we were all over them. Now we need to collect three points before we face Highlanders in the next game on Sunday,” said Ntini.
But Shabanie coach, Arnold Jani, whose charges fell at home, is also itching to upset the newboys in their own backyard.
“Generally, we played well against Highlanders but we made a couple of mistakes. We have been working on our shortcomings especially on finishing.
“During the match, we managed to create some chances but we lacked the finishing touch and that was one area we have also been working on,” said Jani.
Jani, a former Shabanie player himself, said he had also plugged some loopholes in his backline.
“The boys played well but luck was not on our side and we ended up conceding some soft goals,” said Jani yesterday.
Elsewhere, Mambas will become the first team to visit Dulibadzimu for a Premier League match, when they make the long trip to Beitbridge for a date against Triple B while FC Platinum will be at home to How Mine and Hwange host Black Rhinos at the Colliery.
