EXCELLENT Queue (Pvt) (Ltd) is suing Dynamos for more than US$170 000 after they failed to honour their Dynamos Golden Jubilee project based on the sms voting platform. In the case that has been filed at the High Court in Harare, E-Queue claim they want US$16 000 for setting up the Dynamos Golden Jubilee sms project, inclusive of the US$1 000 they paid the club as agent licence fees.
E-Queue also claim that they need US$15 000 for alleged damage to their image.
The company also wants US$140 000 in prospective income.
E-Queue claim they tried to engage Dynamos for an out-of-court settlement but the club’s representatives kept dragging their feet.
The sms voting platform was set to be used when DeMbare’s fans chose their best ever player.
Ignatius Pamire, who was representing Dynamos in the negotiations, said E-Queue were to blame for the breakdown in their relationship.
“We wanted an sms platform for the club but they failed and they are still to give us results. They engaged other players and our income was going to be affected and that was against our agreement,” Pamire said.
Zimbabwe international forward, Silas Songani, is scheduled to begin his new life as a professional footballer in Denmark this week.
Songani completed a two-and-half-year deal to join top-flight Danish side Sonderjyske.
