DEMBARE’S DEFENSIVE NIGHTMARE

Dynamos…`………………………………………(1) 2

Hunters…………………………………………..(1) 2

GENESIS Mangombe has fixed his attack but then his defence is leaking and it is costing Dynamos crucial points in the championship race.

Ghanaian forward Frank Agyemang scored twice at Rufaro yesterday but still the Glamour Boys failed to win as they were held to a draw by newboys Hunters.

Tawananyasha Huni converted a free-kick while King Nadolo scored the other goal.

It was a carbon copy of their match at Sakubva where they also scored twice but ended up with just a point as Manica Diamonds squeezed a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw.

DeMbare have now scored, at least, two goals in their past five games but they have only won twice.

In those five games, they have scored 11 goals while the opponents have scored seven.

Only once, in the 3-0 win over Triangle, did DeMbare manage a clean sheet in their last seven league matches.

During that run, they conceded two goals against CAPS United, two goals against Herentals, two goals against Manica Diamonds and two goals against Hunters yesterday.

In the first round of the league programme last year, DeMbare were the worst team, in terms of their attack with just six goals at the halfway mark.

So far, they have already scored 23 goals.
