Depleted Ngezi face Gunners

Takudzwa Chitsiga Sports Reporter
DEPLETED Ngezi Platinum believe they will not be affected by the absence of some key players when they face Gunners in what promises to be an explosive ZIFA Northern Region Division One League encounter at Callies tomorrow.

The log leaders will be missing the services of inspirational forward, the experienced Daniel Kamunenga, due to injury.

George Zota, Davison Tavari and Evans Katema are also out due to injuries while Keith Murera and Leonard Musengezi are suspended.

Ngezi Plainum coach, Clifton “Somalia” Kadurira, is confident he has players who can do the job in any conditions.

“The game is going to be tough as usual. Facing a team which is among the leaders in the race is always difficult but I am going to make the boys feel comfortable.

“We are taking each game as it comes and this is another game and so we will not be under any pressure and I am sure results will come our way.

“We have enough depth and the players who are not in the team can be replaced and it’s a chance for others to prove themselves.

“We cannot complain much because these are injuries and suspensions.”
