Deputy Health Minister arrives at UBH for International Day of Midwives commemorations

Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care Mr Sleiman Kwidini has arrived at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) for the commemorations of the International Day of Midwives.

He was welcomed by Bulawayo Deputy Mayor Councillor Edwin Ndlovu, Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Provincial Medical Director Dr Maphios Siamuchembu, UBH Chief Medical Officer Dr William Busumani and other dignitaries.

The commemorations have brought together healthcare professionals, Government officials and stakeholders to recognise the critical role played by midwives in improving maternal and child health services.
