DERBY RETURNS TO ITS SPIRITUAL HOME ON SUNDAY

Editor

IT’S the first Harare Derby at Rufaro in years and we will be having a daily countdown to the capital’s biggest football match, which returns to its spiritual home, on Sunday.

Our campaign is meant to try and woo a capacity crowd at the Harare Derby on Sunday when CAPS United host Dynamos.

Last year, the first leg of the Harare Derby attracted the biggest crowd to watch a football game in Harare the entire year.

We believe that if we get a similar crowd on Sunday, Rufaro will be full to capacity, providing the sights and sounds, which makes football the number one game in the world.

The two giants have not set the stage alight in the first weeks of the league championship campaign but it’s still early days and they can make up for lost ground.

Such big matches need heroes, the players with the power to pull fans to the stadium and the emergence of Junior Bunjira has coincided with a decent run by CAPS United.

Bunjira has been outstanding and has shown no signs of stage fright as he dances with the big boys.
