“I look forward to representing Zimbabwe with the same dream I had a few years back,” said Nkululeko.

Nkululeko’s management company Hunnar Agency said they feel his collections deserved the recognition after all the hard work they have put in it.

“We have worked hard on Ara Kani and it is high time the brand gets enough recognition and also stand out as one of the best street wear brands.

“The collection to be showcased highlights a little bit on a rebellious young person, but in a very wearable way.

“We have everything thought of, from styling to each garment presentation,” said Charlotte Sengu from Hunnar Agency.

Ara Kani was first launched at the Clothing Indaba in 2013 and the brand has grown to be showcased at platforms such as HIFashion at HIFA, Durban Fashion Fair and Intwasa Fashion Show, amongst others.

Ncube will join Harare-based designer, Taf the Taylor, who has showcased at previous Menswear Week shows in Cape Town.
