One of Harare’s most sought-after DJs Dexter Dee had the crowd eating from his palms at the weekend when he took charge of the decks at ZimCafe Restaurant for a weekly dose of old and new school music.
Dexter Dee who left the turntables to go into business full-time is now back to rekindle the days when he was the main man at the then Oblivion Nightclub located at Rhodesville Shopping Centre.

His selection of music takes you from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s as well as new school tunes as well.

“I love music, not just music but good music and strive to give the best to my fans as I know their worth.

“Those who love cools vibes can join me at the joint as I play side-by-side with resident DJ Webber,” he said.

Dexter Dee is not new to the club scene having played at such clubs as Circus, Tipperary’s, Stars Studio and Ikon as well as in clubs Bulawayo.

Most of these clubs are now defunct although recently, he was playing alongside his long time ally DJ Storm at the Rugby Bar.

It’s always a pleasure to listen to Dexter Dee especially when he serenades music lovers on a journey of R&B, house and hip-hop.

Fridays at ZimCafe Restaurant will never be the same as Dexter Dee will perform back-to-back with DJ Webber, who has worked with at Huggies Entertainment for a long time.

Last weekend, the two brought the roof down throwing tune-after-tune .

Isaac “F&B Guru” Neshamba who is the ZimCafe Restaurant director said the joint was now back to its original form with quality entertainment spiced by sumptuous dishes.

“I always tell people that original is hard to beat and for that reason we have gone back to basics where we are serving sumptuous traditional dishes, platters and a variety of western culinary treats.

“This is our specialty and we don’t compromise on quality,” he said.

He also promised a wide array of entertainment for their patrons as well.
